Default Is the font / text color here hard to read?

I'm old ...but in certain light I'm having a harder time reading this green text than I do with black text of the same size on other forums. Is it just me?

Do you prefer this color text or should I try out some others?

If it were me, I would go with the black font. I can read the green, but I think I could read the black a little better.

I'm with Doc - the black is easier on these old eyes. (Sorry, TR! )

I think TR has said both ...black was better ...then green was ok.
I'm trying to find the widget to change his general type to black but I'm not finding the right one. It's hiding pretty good but I'll find it eventually.

Testing size

If you edit in advance mode, the size is the same as the post. It's now 16pt. It was 10pt. I could easily go inbetween and try 14pt if you think it needs to be a bit smaller. What do ya say?

16pt seemed to big ....I backed it down to 14pt. This is the same as size 4 ...in advanced message mode.

I meant to say the black font is better. I have NO freakin' idea why I wrote green other then having a brain fart. Sorry for the confusion gents. I like the font size as well.

Great. I think this size works better all the way around.

Yes it does. Currently I am on the 21" iMac and it fills the screen perfectly and very comfortable to read. I will check it out on the laptop later, but I am sure that will be fine as well.

I'm on a laptop and it works ok. But I've made a 2nd style with slightly smaller font. Still not the 10pt which was the default. I backed it down to 12pt.
So members can select which size they prefer. Everything else about the styles are exactly the same. Only the font is different size.

Splat is size 14pt

Splat Smaller Font = 12pt.

Default VB style is the other option and it has the original font size. It's the VB default blue.

I felt the Splat LargeFont was to big for the default fo urm. So I made the SplatSmallerFont the default that all users will see unless they go to the bottom of any screen and select the 'Style' with the LargeFont. Splat-LargeFont In your user options you can change that to be your default Font size if you want so every time you visit that is the size the text will show up no matter what I make the default. You are in control of your 'Style'.
